DentalEZ, Malvern, Pa, now offers the CORE™ package—a combination of patient chair, delivery system, and LED operatory light.
The CORE Chair features an adjustable double articulating, pinch-style headrest. Built with a fluid hydraulic cantilever mechanism, the CORE Chair is able to swivel 15 degrees, allowing it to glide in both right and left directions. In addition, the chair features a brake located on the back that secures the chair in a stationary position, and an emergency shut-down feature.
The CORE Chair comes with a touch pad to control each chair function. An optional foot control is available with four programmable preset positions. The chair is constructed with seamed, durable NaugaSoft upholstery. Its foundation is made of durable cast iron, while the chair back, base, armrest, and headrest feature aluminum casting.
The CORE Delivery Unit has five integrated handpiece holders, with easy snap-on caps available to cover unused holders. The unit offers a recessed, secure tray placement for better stability. The Magellan mounted CORE Delivery Unit allows for right- or left-handed use, and is equipped with a side-handle brake for easier maneuvering.
The unit’s CORE LED Light is rectangular, with three long-lasting, energy-efficient LED bulbs. The light features a dual axis movement and is controlled by a sensor that reacts to a simple wave of the hand. The light features three intensity levels: low, medium, or high light (10,000-30,000 lux). The CORE LED Light’s handles are magnetic and the lens can be removed for cleaning.
