Planmeca, Helsinki, Finland, recently introduced a new Cephalometric Analysis module for its Romexis® software.
Romexis is used by orthodontists for acquiring, viewing, andprocessing 2D and 3D images. The new module allows orthodontists tocreate cephalometric analyses and compose superimpositions of 2Dcephalometric images, facial photos, and images of the dental arch.Images are captured in Planmeca Romexis. During the treatment process,the module allows orthodontists to superimpose patient images fromdifferent times for follow-up purposes.
Results and images can be shared anywhere using the mobile PlanmecaiRomexis™ application and Planmeca’s cloud service. The module also letsusers customize analyses and aspects of the software.
