Western Dental Services Inc, Orange, Calif, has converted all of its more than 260 dental and orthodontic offices in California, Arizona, and Nevada to digital dental x-rays.
The year-long conversion was aimed at giving patients immediate feedback to get them more involved in their dental health and at reducing their radiation exposure.
“Digital x-ray technology has made our offices safer, greener, and more efficient,” said Samuel H. Gruenbuam, president and CEO of Western Dental. “Converting all of our offices was a considerable investment, but our dentists, technicians, and our patients are very happy that we did.”
