Rhinogram, Chattanooga, Tenn, announced the integration of its cloud-based HIPAA-compliant telehealth solution with SelectBraces, an online platform designed to help prospective patients research, compare, and connect with orthodontic specialists in their local community.
Through the collaboration with Rhinogram, SelectBraces now offers consumers the option to request virtual orthodontic consultations directly from orthodontist profiles on SelectBraces.com. Prospective patients and orthodontic practices will be able to securely communicate via two-way texting including the exchange of documents and multimedia communication. The complete history of SMS messages, which cannot be edited, is archived in the patient’s communication record within Rhinogram, allowing practices to reference past communication with their patients.
“This partnership with Rhinogram exemplifies our mutual commitment to the preservation of the orthodontic specialty along with our commitment to improving consumer convenience while maintaining the integrity of care,” said Emily Beglin, DDS, founder of SelectBraces.
“Patients want to know they can conveniently and easily access their healthcare providers, especially when it comes to communication—this includes researching and choosing a provider. With Rhinogram, patients can text their providers and vice versa, so practices can engage with patients wherever they may be located,” said Kathy Ford, president and chief product officer of Rhinogram. “At Rhinogram, we’re continually looking for ways our platform can remove the barriers between practices and their patients. This integration with SelectBraces is doing just that by helping orthodontists connect with consumers so they can focus on delivering the quality care patients deserve.”
