SciCan, Canonsburg, Pa, has released a new instrument washer called the HYDRIM C61w G4. The touchscreen, internet-ready instrument washer uses fresh water and cleaning solution for every cycle to ensure sterilization results.
The product has a 6 full-size cassette capacity that allows orthodontic offices to turnover 120 instruments in 35 minutes, the company said. It’s also able to be installed above or under the counter and has access to the company’s G4 technology which can e-mail service personnel in the event of troubleshooting.
SciCan has developed and manufactured infection control products for more than 20 years.
