Henry Schein introduces the Minipolisher II, a clinical air-powder polishing device designed for the orthodontists and assistant. According to the company, it is the only prophy unit cleared for implant maintenance and is effective for cleaning abutments before seating restorations. The Minipolisher can also be used for cleaning around fixed orthodontics appliances. The Minipolisher II attaches directly to high-speed tubing and is pedal-activated. The lightweight Minipolisher handpiece is fully autoclavable.
