Lancer Orthodontics Inc, Vista, Calif, has teamed with Thomas Hughes, DDS, former president of the International Association of Orthodontics, to offer The Simplicity System, a new orthodontic treatment system. The Simplicity System consists of two wires for the entire treatment: a fixed lingual arch and indirect bonding trays. According to the company and Hughes, the kit allows orthodontists to treat approximately 90% of all orthodontic cases, including crowded and narrow arch cases.
In addition, Hughes will offer CE courses on The Simplicity System nationwide. The first course will occur May 7 in San Diego and May 8 in San Francisco. Future courses will be offered in Dallas, Phoenix, Detroit, Chicago, Orlando, Atlanta, Las Vegas, Denver, Washington, New York, Seattle, and Costa Mesa, Calif.
