Mydent International, Hauppage, NY, introduces the Defend+Plus sterilization pouch with built-in dual internal indicator. According to the company, the new pouch saves time and money by eliminating the need to use separate indicator strips.
Defend+Plus pouches feature the same design and construction of standard Defend® pouches, but include a built-in dual internal indicator (Steam and ETO). This allows the user to see that the correct sterilization temperature is reached within the instrument compartment without having to place an indicator strip inside the pouch. The dual internal indicator provides an extra measure of security.
The pouches are offered in five sizes, packaged 200 to a box, and are available from most dental dealers.
