The California Dental Association (CDA) will hold its bi-annual convention, titled “The Art and Science of Dentistry,” in San Francisco this week. Running September 22 to 24, the event is expected to draw more than 16,000 orthodontists, dentists, staff, and students.

The event will feature a number of workshops including one oncomposite artistry focused on restoring anterior teeth with a single shade. Other offerings include a workshop on the placement of mini-implants for mandibular denture retention.

The convention will also offer a look at a number of new products, including Bien Air Dental’s Micro-Series Handpiece Collection, ImageWorks’ NewTom 5G cone beam scanner, and Orascoptic’s Freedom LED Cordless Headlight.

You can still register at the CDA Web site.
