3M Unitek, Monrovia, Calif, has released the next generation of the Unitek Treatment Management Portal (TMP). TMP 4.2 features a number of new products to accompany the company’s Incognito™ Appliance System, including the new digitally produced Incognito Clear Precision Trays.
The trays feature a hard outer shell with a soft inlay manufactured directly from digital data. Incognito brackets are inserted directly into the tray, providing increased visual control and more accurate placement during the bonding process. In addition, the trays can be cut and used as a rebonding “jig” for accurately replacing brackets, according to the company.
Unitek TMP is an orthodontic case-management platform for digital model management, treatment planning, and ordering of the Incognito Appliance System. The platform allows for the virtual display and archive of digital study models and reduces onsite storage while allowing patient data to be more efficiently management.
The TMP 4.2 has been released as an automatic update for all users.
